"This Old House" was here to film the store in December.
The Grand Puba: David Vos, the Director and Senior Producer, was great to work with, and the rest of the crew were also lots of fun. Deborah Hood, Heath Racela, Norm Abrams, and Dino the cameraman joined us for a photo. We also had to get our picture with the star of the show, Norm Abrams, who was a great down to Earth guy whom we really enjoyed visiting with during the 6 hour visit at the store. Show series begins on February 10, 2007 and we should be on the 3rd episode. Hope you get to see the segment. The show should air our segment that is linked to thouse they are doing in Austin, Texas on the forth segment. That is scheduled for the end of February in Austin. Will post here when we know what the final schedule is when we find out. Web Changes This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first. Best new items in inventory: Just in from Buffalo NY, a full semi load of great doors, tubs, sinks, windows, and much more.
Huge selection of Farmhouse sinks now in stock, even the rare 2 bowl, double drain board cast iron porcelain kitchen sinks with the original porcelain in great condition. We also just acquired over 750 doors from Scherer Architectural Antiques in Lincoln Nebraska, many of which came from Omaha Nebraska. A great and unique collection of doors to add to our already unmatched selection. We will also try to keep a listing and archive of articles written by Brad Kittel for Austin Monthly. You may find them helpful and informative when it comes to using and integrating architectural antiques into your home and business.

Tiny Texas Houses
The first of the Tiny Texas Houses coming off the line. See Tiny Texas House page for more pictures. These are made from 95% vintage materials, yet the electric, plumbing, and insulation is new. The ultimate in Green building and a home that will last another hundred years without the modern home out gassing and environmental issues. This is what you do for fun when you get tired of just stacking up vintage lumber and Architectural Antiques. Finished model pictures will be done for next week.
